The Kogi Central Media Practitioners Association, (KOCEMPA), has congratulated Barikisu Avoyi Nwogu, on her appointment as Senior Special Assistant on Electronic Media to Governor Yahaya Bello.
In a statement by the Secretary, Ibrahim Obansa, the group commended the Governor for appointing a throughbred Journalist into such position.
KOCEMPA noted with satisfaction, the untiring efforts of the State Government in critical areas such as security, health, education, ethnic and religious harmony as well as agriculture, youth and Women empowerment and the provision of critical infrastructure.
Nwogu, until her appointment, was the Kogi State House correspondent of African Independent Television (AIT).
