A Civil Society Organisation, the Centre for Liberty wants the National Assembly not to proceed with the passage of the Anti-Social Media and Digital Freedom Bills.
The group made this known while staging a sit-out protest at the National Assembly Complex. They accused the federal lawmakers of planning a quick passage of the bill secretly.

It reminded the the Senate to abide by the wishes of Nigerians during the public hearing held three months ago, that the bills be stepped down.
