Suspected bandits have launched a fresh attack on Bakori Local Government Area of the state abducting the first wife and 2 sons of the member representing the area in the state house of assembly, Dr. Ibrahim Kurami.
A source from the area told AIT that the bandits also shot an Islamic first aid worker in the area named Ubaidu Abdulhakim and several others but said, they are receiving treatment at a medical facility.

He also gave the names of the abducted wife as Rabi’atu Ibrahim, and the two sons Abba and Khalifa Ibrahim.
The bandits were said to have stormed the area on Saturday night at about 8:30pm shooting sporadically as they carried out their attack.
As at the time of this report, no official statement has been received from the police.
The lawmaker’s abduction is coming barely a year after he was abducted for days before being released on payment of ransom.
