Gunmen have abducted the mother of a member of the Niger State House of Assembly.
She was taken away from Mago community in Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State.
The Gunmen had stormed the community, shortly after the Muslim breakfast.
According to sources in the community, the gunmen fired gunshots which scared the people.

The Member of the State Assembly, Bello Agwara, has confirmed the abduction.
He added that the gunmen are yet to communicate with the family, to state their demands.
