Some unidentified gunmen, suspected to be kidnappers have abducted the father of Ogbia Local Government Council’s Chairman, Chief Gbalipre Turner in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

It was gathered that the gunmen stormed the victim’s residence at Samphino Road, Kpansia, late Sunday night, fired sporadically into the air, before whisking him away to an unknown destination.

However, the Bayelsa State Police Command is yet to issue an official statement, regarding the incident.

The kidnap of the father of the Ogbia LGA Chairman is coming barely a month after the mother of the Secretary to the State Government of Bayelsa State, Madam Betinah Benson was kidnapped.

She has, however, regained her freedom.
