Unknown gunmen have killed a policeman in yet another violent attack on a police station in Ebonyi State, South-East Nigeria.
The latest incident occurred at the Obiozara Divisional Police Station that is in charge of the Ebonyi State Governor’s area.
Details of the attack remain sketchy, though a local source told ait.live that the gunmen invaded the station in the early hours of Thursday.
The main police station for the Ohaozara Local Government Area was torched by irate mob during the #EndSARS protest. The temporary office being used ad police station is the one attacked this time around.

As at the time filing this report, there has not been any official confirmation of the incident by either the police or the State Government.
However, a police officer who would not want to be quoted says the gunmen were repelled.
This latest attack on Obiozare in Ohaozara LGA is coming less than 5 days after the Abaomege Police Station in neighbouring Onicha Local Government Area of the State was invaded by yet to be apprehended gunmen.
