A Retired Secondary School Teacher was shot dead and three others abducted by suspected terrorists at the staff quarters of Government Secondary School, at the Headquarters of Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The victim was said to have retired from Service as a Teacher a few months ago, while his wife was abducted alongside two other women living in the quarters.
The Public Relations Officer for the Zamfara State Police Command, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Yazid Abubakar, confirmed the Incident to AIT News.
He said the violent armed men invaded the staff quarters at around 10p.m. Saturday and whisked away the three women to unknown forest.
The police also said Operatives have been deployed to the area, and they are on the trail of the perpetrators.
Communities in the Tsafe LGA have been suffering from terrorist attacks for some time now.
