Gunmen in their hundreds have invaded Allawa community, in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.
The gunmen had stormed the community since Saturday evening and chased away the people.
Some of the community members said that the bandits were seen breaking houses and carting away foodstuff and drugs, as well as other essential commodities.
They further said the houses and shops were then set ablaze after looting by the bandits.

There has been no reported case of killing or kidnap by the gunmen in following the operation.
