An expatriate, Wali Duo, working in a construction company in Ondo State, has been abducted by unknown gunmen.
Duo, a Lebanese, was kidnapped, on Wednesday night, while a soldier from the 32 Artillery Brigade of the Nigeria Army, Akure, attached to him was also killed.
It was gathered that the foreigner was abducted around Alafia junction in Owo Local Government Area of the state while trying to inspect an ongoing road construction.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, in the Ondo State Police Command, Funmilayo Odunlami, said the police has launched a manhunt for the attackers with a promise to arrest them soon.
Odunlami also confirmed that the Gunmen also made away with the Hilux van that brought the victims to the site.
