We have reports that one HND II student of the Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic in Zaria, Kaduna State has been killed with another injured by gunmen.
A lecturer with the Department of Science Laboratory and Technology in the Polytechnic, Habila Sarki, told ait.live that the armed men invaded the school in the late hours of Thursday.

The lecturers abducted are Habila Nasai and Adamu Shika, along with three unidentified students.
Sarki also said the whereabouts of the abducted lecturers is yet to be known, and the level of damage during the attack yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, a statement by the Chapter Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics said the wife and two children of one of the abducted lecturers have been released by the gunmen.
