Eyewitnesses told ait.live that the gunmen who operated in a Lexus SUV suddenly opened fire on the moving police patrol van, killing three policemen

Unconfirmed accounts say, a fourth policeman is still missing at the time of this report.
Enugu State Police Command spokesman, Daniel Ndukwe who confirmed the attack said an intensive manhunt is ongoing to track down the attackers.
