At least nine persons have been reportedly killed in Tudu village in the Kajuru local government area of Kaduna State at the early hour of Tuesday.
Chairman Kajuru Local Government Area Cafra Caino who disclosed this in a statement says the attack is unfortunate and a setback to the confidence building effort and peace engagements of the state government.
The Chairman says detailed inventory of casualties is still being taken. He insisted that the position of the government is that all communities must abide by the law as against engaging in wanton killings and reprisals.

Cafra therefore implore all and sundry to unite to win the war against criminality in the Local Government Council. He stressed that the council will not relent in its efforts to end violence in the State.
