Unknown gunmen have killed a yet-to-be-identified man and abducted other passengers along the Osogbo/Ibokun Road in Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State.
The Field Commander, Amotekun Corps in Osun State, Amitolu Shittu, confirmed that the incident occurred Tuesday night near Ajebandele, a village in Obokun Local Government Area; a few kilometres from the state capital.
He said the deceased was shot dead by the attackers, whom he said carried AK-47 rifles.

He said search and rescue operation of the abductees had commenced.
