Gunmen suspected to be Terrorists have reportedly killed a Female Church Worker on Saturday night in Riyom Local Government of Plateau State, North Central Nigeria.
The incident occurred in Bangai community of Riyom around 9:30pm when the deceased identified as Mrs Lyop Dalyop, was returning from the church where she had gone to clean the Sanctuary.
While confirming the incident to AIT in Jos on Sunday, the National President of the Berom Youth Moulders Association, Dalyop Mwantiri, said “the killing was carried out by armed men suspected to be Fulani militias”.

According Dalyop, the victim was returning from sweeping the COCIN Church in Bangai against Sunday service when the incident occured.
The youth leader added, that the attack took place after a young herder was spotted spying the area earlier on Saturday evening.
As at the time of filing this report, the Spokesman for the Plateau State Police Command could not be reached for comment on the Attack.
