The Chairman, Miyyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria, MACBAN in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Adamu Aliyu has been killed by gunmen.
National Secretary of Miyyeti Allah Kauota Hore, Saleh Mohammed who confirmed the incident said the deceased was killed along with four others close to Daku village in Dobi Ward in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT.
Saleh also confirmed the abduction of three persons during the deadly attack.
He further states that three others persons who escaped with gunshot injuries are receiving treatment at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada.
Meanwhile the Federal Capital Territory Police Command is yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh who spoke to ait.live on telephone said the Command is yet to receive any signal from the Gwagwalada Divisional Police Station on the incident.
It would be recalled that residents of Gwagwalada Area Council took to the streets two weeks ago to protest against incessant killings in the area.
