One person was killed by gunmen in an attack launched on the Dangaladima community in Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State.
The gunmen had also launched similar attacks on some communities, where twelve persons were abducted.
According to an eyewitness account from a neighbouring community, an unspecified number of cattle were rustled by the gunmen.
During the attack, ait.live gathered that several persons fled their communities in search of safety.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police Wasiu Abiodun, could not be reached for reactions.
