Commissioner for Police in Imo State, Mohammed Barde has confirmed the death of traditional ruler of Nguru Autonomous community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, Eze James Nnamdi, popularly known as Eze mmirioma.
The monarch was shot dead at his palace on Monday afternoon when some gunmen invaded his home.
Eze James Nnamdi died while receiving medical attention at the Hospital after been shot severally by the assailants.
Meanwhile, the police authorities in Imo State have since launched investigation into the case with a view to ensuring that Eze James Nnamdi’s killers are apprehended and made to face the full wrath of the law.
