Two people were reportedly shot on Monday in Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State as members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clashed following the resumption of reinstated council executives.

One of the sacked chairmen Adeyemi Fatai in Boripe local government insisted on enforcing the verdict of the appellate court which he claimed ordered the reinstatement of sacked council political functionaries elected during the Oyetola administration
However, Osun state Governor sen. Ademola Adeleke has directed all law abiding Osun residents to stay away from the council secretariats especially as they are expected to be under lock and key.
