Hajia Safiya’s Death, A Great Loss To YSFON –Gawuna

The National President Of the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria YSFON, Dr Nasir Gawuna has expressed a profound sense of sadness over the untimely death of Hajia Safiya Mohammed, YSFON’s National Finance Officer.

Reacting to the news on Wednesday, Dr Gawuna says Hajia Safiya’s death is a great loss to the YSFON family and the entire Nation

Gawuna noted that late Safiya’s passion and sacrifices for sports were uncommon and will be greatly missed

The President sent YSFON’s condolences and prayers to her immediate family, and all those who are affected by the devastating loss.

Other YSFON’s Executive Committee members and State officials are also mourning.

They pray the Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljanna Firdausii, they also pray that God will strengthen the family and loved ones she left behind to bear the irreparable loss.

The late Hajiya Safiya Mohammed was the Director of Finance and Accounts of the defunct Nasarawa State Sports Commission, and Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, she spent most of her public life promoting the growth and development of sports in Nasarawa State and beyond.Hajia was also an active member of the National Executive Committee of the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, YSFON, and other organisations.

YSFON has promised to immortalize the Late Hajiya Safiya Muhammed for her dedication to duty and rare passion for Youth sports development
