Residents of Kano, Northwest Nigeria are battling severe hazy weather that has made visibility nearly impossible.
The poor visibility has also affected motorists and other road users, who now drive with caution.
Many residents of the state have resorted to the use of face masks, not necessarily in compliance with the prevention protocols against Covid-19, but to fight the dusty weather.
Some of the residents said the hazy weather reappeared suddenly, as the state is already experiencing heat in the previous days.
The hazy weather is likely to also affect flights scheduled for the day.
