As part of efforts to ease the treatment of Leprosy patients, the Leprosy Mission Nigeria (TLMN) has donated twenty-five electronic motorised beds to the Niger state Leprosy Hospital.
While donating the items to the state government, the Operations Manager, Pius Ogbu, said the beds were obtained as support from the Leprosy Mission, Switzerland.
He added that the mission actively operates in Niger State, providing free treatment, rehabilitation, vocational training; and focuses on eradicating stigma, providing orthopaedic devices, and empowering affected individuals.
