He said that the consistent surge in the number of COVID-19 positive cases in the state has made it pertinent for the Ebonyi people to seek the face of God in order to end the pandemic.

Igwe assures the people that the current health status of their Governor will not in anyway derail the fight against the disease.

Members of the Ebonyi State Covid-19 Management Team led by the State Commissioner for Health, Dan Umezurike had briefed the Deputy Governor that 508 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19, were recorded in the state out of which 426 have been successfully managed and discharged while 6 patients lost their lives.
