The House Of Representatives Committee on Rural Development has expressed satisfaction with the Benue State Government’s rural transformation efforts.
Deputy Chairman of the committee Abdullahi Mohammed, gave the commendation after an on the spot inspection of some projects in Gboko local government area of the State.
Abdullahi Mohammed led other members on the inspection of rural projects in parts of Benue State.
Some projects inspected within Gboko town include the underpass, Federal low cost road as well as the Ikyese street road.
Earlier, the committee was received at the Presidential lodge of the Government House in Makurdi the State capital by the State Governor Hyacinth Alia.
He appreciated the committee for the visit as it will rewrite the State’s story.
