Echo Systems Network Transforms Revenue Collection in Ilorin East LGA With Cutting-Edge eRevenue Platform

Ilorin, Kwara State – In a groundbreaking move towards digital governance, Echo Systems Network Ltd, a leading Nigerian technology solutions provider, has successfully deployed its eRevenue automation platform for Ilorin East Local Government Area (LGA).

The contract, awarded earlier this year, aimed at revolutionizing the LGA’s revenue generation process by digitizing collections and expanding the tax net to capture the largely untapped informal sector. Within just a few months of deployment, the results have been remarkable — the local government reports that revenue inflows have surged by an estimated 50%.

Echo Systems’ eRevenue platform leverages advanced digital tools including mobile payment integration, real-time transaction monitoring dashboards, and secure electronic invoicing systems. This innovative technology has not only simplified how businesses and individuals make payments but has also ensured greater transparency and accountability in the revenue collection process.

One of the most impressive outcomes has been the onboarding of the informal sector, which traditionally operated outside the tax framework. Through user-friendly digital channels, market traders, artisans, and small-scale entrepreneurs can now conveniently register, pay, and receive instant receipts — eliminating bottlenecks and reducing leakages that have long plagued local government finances.

Speaking on the success of the project, an Ilorin East LGA official noted:

“For the first time, we are seeing true transparency in our revenue system. What Echo Systems has brought is not just technology, but trust — and that has translated directly into higher collections and better services for our people.”

Echo Systems Network’s Managing Director, in his remarks, highlighted the company’s commitment to enabling smart governance across Nigeria:

“Our goal with eRevenue is simple: to empower local governments to unlock their true revenue potential. By digitizing collections and making the process seamless for citizens, we are ensuring that funds are available to drive development at the grassroots.”

Industry analysts say this project could serve as a model for other LGAs in Kwara State and beyond, demonstrating how innovative technology can bridge gaps in governance, improve efficiency, and boost internally generated revenue.

With the success of the eRevenue rollout in Ilorin East, Echo Systems Network is positioning itself as a key partner for governments across Nigeria seeking to modernize their financial systems and deliver sustainable development.
