Huge relief over rescue of abducted Kebbi Deputy Speaker – Danruwatan Gwandu

Rescued Deputy Speaker of Kebbi State House of Assembly, Muhammad Bagudo

Danruwatan Gwandu of Kebbi, Idris Shuaibu has extended deep appreciation to Kebbi Governor, Idris Nasir on the safe rescue and timely return of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly, Muhammad Bagudo. The lawmaker was abducted on October 31, at about 8:20 p.m., when a gang of armed men stormed his Bagudo hometown.

Shuaibu was full of praises for the resolute determination of Governor Nasir and his steady cooperation with the security forces that led to the success of the entire rescue mission.

Shuaibu also commended security agencies in the state for their tireless operations that ensured the rescue of the Deputy Speaker.

While calling for greater synergy across security agencies in Kebbi State, and across Nigeria, the Danruwatan Gwandu, expressed deep gratitude to God that the Deputy Speaker came out unscathed.

The Danruwatan Gwandu, thanked the people of Bagudo, and Nigerians for their prayers in securing the release of the Deputy Speaker. He also acknowledged kind wishes from loved ones across Kebbi State. He was also thankful to God for the eventual successful rescue of the lawmaker.
