The training and retraining of human resources at the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC is critical in achieving productivity at the workplace.
The interim administrator of the NDDC, efiong akwa stated this during the annual mandatory membership revalidation workshop of the institute of strategic management Nigeria, in Port Harcourt.

The Interim administrator of the NDDC, efiong akwa who was represented by the director of corporate affairs ibitoye abosade said the commission will continue to partner professional bodies like the institute of strategic management, in areas of human capital development to enhance productivity.
The rivers state chairman of the institute of strategic management of Nigeria, Davies okarevu commended the nddc over its commitment towards training of its staff.
He said as the world continues to pass through challenges, there was need for managers to think strategically in order to achieve organisational goals.
