No fewer than 200 houses have been destroyed, rendering hundreds displaced, in a communal crisis between the Mbaav and Mbavuur communities of the Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.
The cause of the crisis has been identified as a long-standing land dispute, in which the community leaders from both sides had met, and were trying to resolve the matter, but met another dead end.

Though they all seem ready to sheath their swords, the misunderstanding continues to degenerate.
