Oba of Benin, his royal majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo Oba Ewuare II has appealed to Nigerians planning the hunger protest slated for August 1, 2024 to shelve the planned demonstration and give president Bola Tinubu more time to implement his economic policies that would reduce the present hardship being experienced by Nigerians.
The monarch made the appeal in a press statement signed by his Chief press secretary Osaigbovo Iguobaro.

Oba Ewuare II says for things to get better ,they must first be rough for a while.
The Benin King also appealed to the federal government to intensify efforts in the implementation of its economic and security policies
