Embattled Nigerian instagram socialite, Ramon Abass Igbalode also known as Hushpuppi has been denied bail by a Chicago judge Jeffrey Gilbert.
Gilbert claimed that the accused posed a great flight risk hence he would remain in custody pending his transfer to a California court.
Hushpuppi’s lawyer Gal Pissetzky had applied for him to be released on condition that he wears an ankle monitor while he lives with a relative but his request was opposed by US prosecutors.

Hushpuppi and his accomplice Olalekan Ponle Woodberry were extradited to the United States for alleged money laundering, transnational organized cyber-crime and hacking that led to their arrest in Dubai
