National Rescue movement (NRM) party’s governorship candidate in Delta state, Barry Avotu Johnson has said he will bring comprehensive development to Delta state if voted into power in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Avotu made the statement during a rally at his country home Evwreni town in Ughelli North Local government area of the state.

Known for his knack for grassroots mobilization, the Governorship hopeful bemoaned the situation of Nigerian youths in the country promising that his government, if voted into office, will drive various initiatives that will bring about a comprehensive development plan for the state and empowerment to the youths.

Speaking further he unveiled his Delta state development plan tagged “RESET DELTA” and promised that he will ensure that all basic amenities like Clean Drinking Water, Free Healthcare Services with Quality Facilities, Free and Compulsory Education, Good Roads, security of lives, and Properties, etc will be implemented across the state.

He also promised to RESET Delta by building 25 New mega cities in the 25 Local government areas of Delta with an Agricultural Revolution and 1Million Youth Supplementary Employment Scheme with an economic recovery agenda titled “Good, Better and Best”

He asked the youths to ensure they key into the INEC continuous voters’ registration and get their PVCs as it’s the only way for them to vote in the right people at all levels

” I enjoin you to take advantage of the ongoing voters’ registration to get your PVCs. It is the only weapon you have against bad governance. Do not let anyone mislead you that your votes won’t count, it will and we must take the advantage to enthrone good governance at all levels.
