The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) says, it has recovered about N4billion of public funds in the last 24 hours.
Speaking at a one-day National Anti-corruption Coalition Members Interactive Forum in Abuja on Thursday, Chairman of ICPC, Musa Aliyu said the Commission is making concerted efforts to recover more.
The fight against corruption has become a growing challenge in Nigeria and it is now more expedient to collectively tackle the monster. Chairman of the anti-graft agency, Musa Aliyu noted that the country needs to pay more attention in proactive measures in tackling the menace stressing that the use of modern technology is key to curbing it.

The ICPC Chairman also expressed the determination of the Commission to ensure the implementation of the Supreme Court judgement that outlawed Local Government Caretaker Committees.
Presentations were made on; The Role of CEOs and NGOs in Grassroots Mobilisation, The role of CEOs and NGOs in Constituency and Executive Projets Tracking Initiative, and Operational Guidelines for CEOs and NGOs.
