A group of Igbo Women under the auspices of Igbo Women Assembly have called on the Nigerian Federal Government to look into the activities of security agencies in the South East geopolitical zone with a view to preventing a possible breakdown of law and order with attendant loss of lives and property
Speaking during a Media briefing in Lagos, the women also frowned at some pundits making the rounds in the social media over alleged hate speeches capable of inciting tribal wars and crisis in the country.
The Igbo Women Assembly in the spirit of national unity appealed to President Bola Tinubu to do the needful and release Nnmadi Kanu from detention.
The group however took a swipe at the judiciary over the lingering Court cases, as they look up to them as the last hope for the common man.
