The Ijaw National Congress, INC, the Ijaw apex social-cultural group has described the 1999 Constitution as satanic.
The group stated this at the two days public hearing in Asaba, Delta State capital, on the review of the 1999 Constitution.
The group said that it is in support of Bayelsa State which described itself as a sovereign nationality devoid of Biafra and Oduduwa secessionism.

Delta State on its part has put up a unified position. It is demanding an on the revenue allocation accruable to the Niger Delta states from 13% to 50% while Bayelsa State is demanding 100% ownership and control of every solid mineral resource in the Niger Delta.
Also, the state demanded an electoral system that allows electronic voting to enhance transparency during every election.
Meanwhile, Edo state is demanding 100% Gender equality in every appointment.
