Ijebu Igbo Residents Mourn Sen. Buruji Kashamu

The Ijebu-Igbo Community in Ogun State on Sunday, witnessed a huge crowd of sympathisers and mourners at the burial of Senator Buruji Kashamu who once represented Ogu East Senatorial zone at the National Assembly.

The sympathisers had gathered as early as eight o clock in the morning while defying the lockdown order in the state. They described the late Senator as their benefactor, a great philanthropist and lover of the masses.

The crowd who also defied the COVID-19 guideline of Social Distancing and usage of face mask then surged into the late Politician’s country home to pay their last respect before he was interred in the compound.
