Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma has signed into law, two Executive bills, making it 13th assented bills by his administration.
Top government officials witnessed the ceremony which took place at the Council Chambers, Government House, Owerri.
The two bills are to establish the Imo State Micro, Smal, and Medium Industrial Development Agency and a bureau to coordinate, supervise, and monitor all projects undertaken by donor agencies and development partners in the state.
Uzodima commended the leadership of the State House of Assembly for being efficient and functional in discharging their legislative duties.
He also stressed that the new laws will strengthen the economic sector of the state.
Meanwhile, Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, Chiji Collins, explained that the first bill will be a focal point for rural industrialization agency and other related issues.

Accordingly, the bills will help in the implementation of approved projects in the state.
