Imo State government has warned residents to strictly adhere to the COVID-19 protocols in order to avert another wave of the pandemic.
It was on the occasion of the visit to the state Task Force by the Commander of Armed forces College, Jaji, who paid a visit to the Imo State Covid-19 Task Force as part of their pandemic research.
Imo State which has been rated as one of the lowest Covid-19 infection state recently recorded 26 new cases.
This led to the call for a serious preventive measures and precaution.
The Imo State government and the Covid-19 Task Force expressed confidence that the state would nip in the bud possible second wave of Coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, the leader of the armed forces group, Commodore Habila Zakaria, said they were in Imo to have first-hand knowledge on the measures being used to curtail the pandemic.

The group toured round some of the state’s isolation centers to ascertain the level of preparedness should there be a second wave of Coronavirus.
