Imo Inauguration: Governor Uzodinma Swears In 5 New Commissioners

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has inaugurated into office five new Commissioners whose nominations were recently confirmed by the State House of Assembly.

Gov. Uzodimma charged the new members of the State Executive Council to discharge their duties and services to the people of Imo State devoid of corruption and non- productivity, as anyone found wanting will be shown the way out.

Speaking in Owerri, the Imo State capital during the inauguration ceremony, Governor Uzodinma says his administration is in a hurry to grow the economy of the State and reduce the economic hardship experienced by the people.

The Governor also charged the newly sworn in Commissioners to become good ambassadors of his administration by supporting in the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people.

Some of the new appointees while appreciating the Governor for the opportunity to serve, promised to cue into the governor’s dream, to achieve the agenda of his administration

The 5 newly inaugurated Commissioners in addition to the 24 earlier sworn-in, brings the total to 29 Commissioners in Governor Hope Uzodimma-led Imo State State Executive Council.
