Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has described the attack on security facilities in the early hours of Easter Monday as unfortunate.
Governor Uzodinma who stated this shortly after inspecting the affected facilities set ablaze by unidentified gunmen at correctional service and police headquarters said 1,800 inmates escaped following the attack and 38 vehicles burnt beyond repair.

He said government and security agencies will rise to the occasion so as to get to bring the perpetrators and sponsors of the attack to book.
