Imo Sate Governor, Hope Uzodmma has once again lauded the President Bola Tinubu led administration for upgrading the Federal Medical Center, Owerri to Federal University of Technology Teaching Hospital.
The governor was speaking at the 36th convocation ceremony of Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) where he was conferred with Honorary Doctorate Degree in Management.
According to Governor Uzodimma, the upgrade of the Teaching Hospital was apt as it will not only benefit medical students of the institution but the people of the state in general in the delivery of quality health care.

Wife of the president, Oluremi Tinubu who was equally awarded an honorary doctorate degree at the event called on youths to be good ambassadors and support the government in its quest to make Nigeria a great nation.
Bornu State Governor, Babagana Zulum who also graced the event, promised to collaborate with Imo State government in supporting the University’s development.
