The Imo State Government has said that the security of lives and property remains top priority of the Governor Hope Uzodinma’s administration.
Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Relations Blessing Nwaoba said this on a visit to Ihite Uboma Council Area following the killing of one Uchechi Okafor.
The sleepy community of Ekwereocha in Ihite Uboma Local Government Area has been thrown into mourning following the brutal murder of Uchechi Okafor by a gang of criminals as residents are raising concern over the unfortunate incident.
While on the spot assessment of the area, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Relations had condemned the killing and assured that the perpetrators must be fished out.
Blessing Nwaoba appealed to the natives to avail security agencies with necessary information to track down the bandits.
