The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC confirms 87 new Coronavirus infections in the country with Imo State recording its index case.
The 87 new Coronavirus cases include 33 in Lagos, 18 in Borno, 12 in Osun, 9 in Katsina, 4 each in Kano and Ekiti, 3 each in Edo and Bauchi with 1 in Imo
Borno, Gombe and Katsina with total of 30 cases each become states with the sixth highest number of Coronavirus cases in Nigeria.

The total number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in Nigeria is now 1,182 with 15 additional patients discharged and 3 new deaths.
