The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike has approved a period of three months time extension for title owners who are yet to develop their plots but have obtained building plan approvals from the FCT department of development control to comply.
The time extension which was contained in a statement from the Director of information and communication of the FCT administration, Hazat Sule implored the affected title owners including individuals, corporate organisations and public institutions to take advantage of the grace period to avoid having their plots revoked.
The administration explained that the decision to extend the time for certain title owners was taken to encourage owners of landed properties in the federal capital city who have demonstrated committement towards developing the city.
