The Kogi State Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC) has called for the immediate reversal of electricity tariffs in the Country.
The Kogi State Chairman of NLC Comrade Gabriel Amari made the call on Monday when organized labour picket the regional office of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, (AEDC) in Lokoja.
Comrade Amari described the increase on electricity tariffs as a daylight robbery on Nigerians.
In line with the national directive of NLC alongside other affiliate union, hundred of workers gathered at regional office of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company in Lokoja to register their grievances on the recent electricity hike.

The Kogi State NLC Chairman Comrade Gabriel Amari lamented that the present administration has continued to inflict untold hardship on the innocent Nigerians with it alleged obnoxious policies.
Comrade Amari insist that failure of the government to reverse the increase in electricity tariffs will bring about total shut down on the power sector.
The Labour leader berated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for allegedly reneging on his campaign promises to Nigerians.
He called on the government to give all Nigerians a uniform band and equal hours of electricity
