The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has reacted to reports that the 2023 General Elections results will be collated manually.
INEC National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee Barr Festus Okoye told ait.live via telephone that the media is making a mountain out of a statement of fact he made.

He said INEC has never collated results electronically in all elections it conducted, even in the last Ekiti and Osun Elections.
Okoye said Nigerians can be sure of INEC’s resolve to make elections credible in Nigeria.
