The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), in Kebbi State has distributed sensitive material to the five local government areas in the state where bye-elections will hold on Saturday.
State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Abubakar Sarkin Fawa, while supervising the distribution, briefed journalists on the exercise at the INEC State Headquarters in Birnin Kebbi.
He said INEC is ready to conduct the election as materials have been distributed in good time.
He promised justice and fairness to all political parties and thanked the security agencies, political parties, and journalists for witnessing the exercise.

The main opposition party in the state, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, (APC), expressed satisfaction with the distribution process.
INEC will conduct felections in Yauri, Shanga, and Ingaski Federal Constituency, following the appointment of Tanko Sununu as Minister, while in Arewa and Dandi Federal Constituency, the court had ordered a rerun election in 25 polling units.
