The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the final list of nominated candidates for the October 10 Governorship election in Ondo State in all its offices and on the Website.
The National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voters Education Committee, Festus Okoye made this known in a statement released after INEC weekly regular meeting on Thursday.
Okoye said the commission deliberated on the conduct of the Ondo Governorship Election scheduled for Saturday 10th October 2020 as well as other outstanding elections.

The statement also noted that 4 political parties that had earlier made valid nominations substituted their candidates.
The political parties are, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Action Democratic Party (ADP), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) which substituted both its Governorship and Deputy Governorship, candidates.
It will be recalled INEC had on the 31st of July 2020, published the provisional list of candidates for the Ondo Governorship election comprising 17 political parties, In accordance with section 35 of the Electoral Act, 2010 (as amended) and as provided in the timetable and schedule of activities released on 6th February 2020.
The statement consequently advised the general public to check for the final lists of political parties and candidates participating in the October 10 Governorship election in Ondo State.
