The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the resumption of both online pre-registration and physical, in-person Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) in the Federal Capital Territory from April 10 to 17, 2026.
In a statement, the Commission’s FCT Office said the one-week exercise covers registration of new voters, transfer of voting locations, update of voter details, replacement of lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), and collection of PVCs.
INEC advised prospective registrants to visit cvr.inecnigeria.org for online pre-registration, while physical registration will take place at INEC Area Council Offices between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on working days.
