The Ministry of Information has removed the Head of the Media Unit of the Code Of Conduct Tribunal, Ibrahim Al-Hassan, and ordered him to hand over to the Chief Registrar of the tribunal, Abdumalik Shaibu.

The Registrar Shaibu himself, made this known on Tuesday, that Al-Hassan was not a staff of the CCT and as such, has returned to the Ministry of Information awaiting fresh posting.

The former CCT head of Media Al- Hassan, came to limelight two weeks ago, following the numerous errors contained in his March 30, 2021 statement, in which he tried to defend the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Justice Danladi Umar, as well as the ethnic hate speech he made when he claimed in the statement that Umar was mobbed by the Biafran boys.

Recall that on the 30th of March, 2021, a video went viral on the Social media, where Danladi Umar allegedly assaulted a security guard, over a parking space misunderstanding at the popular Barnex Plaza in Wuse, Abuja.
