Insecurity: Chief of Army Staff assures troops of utmost attention

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General Farouk Yahaya, has assured troops in the various Theatres of war, that their welfare will continue to receive his utmost attention.
General Yahaya was speaking, during the Eid-El-Kabir Sallah Luncheon, with troops of Operation Hadin Kai, at the Maimalari Cantonment, in Maiduguri, Borno State.

At the Lunch meant to boost the morale of the troops, especially, the injured soldiers, General Farouk Yahaya said, the military has been faced with myriad of security challenges, and urged the soldiers, not to relent.

The Army chief, solicited the synergy with other security agencies. The Special Guest, Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, said his administration, will continue to partner with the armed forces, in the fight against insurgency.

Zulum thanked the troops for their sacrifices, and commended the improved relationship, between the military and the civilian authorities, and urged the military to remain in close collaboration, with the Borno State government.

Governor Zulum donated ten million Naira, to the recuperating soldiers, and promised to do everything possible, to boost their morale.
