Insecurity: Katsina Chief Judge asks Nigerians to return to God

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Nigerians have been called upon to elect credible leaders with the fear of God to lead the nation out of its present challenges especially, Insecurity and economic hardship.

Katsina State Chief Judge, Justice Musa Danladi and other speakers who made the call during the 4th annual seminar organised by the State chapter of the Council of Igala Muslims Community of Nigeria said, the government has tried it’s best in bringing peace and stability, it is time to go back to God entirely.

The theme for this year’s seminar is, returning to Al-Kitab Wa Sunnah: The only solution.

The event featured the inauguration of a 12 man new executives to pilot the affairs of the council for the next 3 years.

Katsina Chief Judge who was the chairman of the occasion hailed the doggedness of both the Federal and State governments in tackling the issue of insecurity but declared that, it is time to return to the proper teachings of God for a permanent solution.

Represented by a Shari’a court judge, Justice Muhammed Lawal-Umar, Danladi said returning to God in the most sincere ways is by upholding his teachings by leaders being just and fair to their followers.

The guest lecturer at the seminar, Abduljaleel Mustapha called on Nigerians ahead of the general elections to elect credible leaders who will rule in accordance with the teachings of God.

He also called on Nigerians to always respect, exercise patience with the leaders and cooperate with them for positive results.

Earlier, the outgoing leader of the council, Isah Adejoh pledged to continue working with the new executives urging them to always rule in accordance with the teachings of God.

Highpoint of the ceremony was the inauguration of the 12 man new executives who will pilot the affairs of the council for the next 3 years amidst lectures and other side attractions.
